Well here is the storyline so far .

I have big feet so buying off the shelf is not normally an option at 49 to 50 euro . I ride with specialized road pro which are progressively getting worse , from heel lift .

I spoke with a good friend who owns a shop over here in WA , his recommendations Bont vapor. So my feet were measured , order made and paid for Nov 8 2011 .
The Aust distributor has been more than lazy in never getting back to either of us , only ever hear " next week they land " since December .

So again I call them yesterday , and have been informed that not to expect them before the end of Feb .....

So cannot comment one how the shoes go ..... But can inform people to beware dealing with Bont and the Aust distributor

Bont gives great service.

Looking at the online store it looks like they are on leave most of January

so is it the service that is bad, or the shoes, as your heading say? :D

I'd suggest you read the many threads here re customers experinces good and bad...
Then promptly reconsider your order.
You may elect to cancel it and use a stronger provider.

I am trying to be fair here, but my experience of Bont in balance was not a smooth, low maintence one.
As such I returned to Sidi, a brand i had used since 1990...

I fear your initial issues will be followed up with a poor ownership experience, which after a year or so you'll be seeking another solution.

Good luck.

Maybe sometimes? I sent an e-mail on Sunday about buying Bont Zeros but did not get a reply yet (they are on sale this month).

When I bought my A-Ones back in 2009, I got very good service from the US distributor, but it seems Bont switched to someone else.

Dov, see how well they hold up over the next 12 months and then post a Long term report, good luck.

My order went in for custom Vaypors with my friend in the city 2 weeks ago this Saturday.... should have em mid July.
As for durability, he showed me his pair which are pressing 3 years old and they still look great.. only thing he has replaced is a ratchet...
Im lucky.. if something like that fails on my shoes, he's 5 mins from my house and has stock of shoes and parts...

Bont replied; but they only pointed me to the local dealer. So I contacted the local shop and now they sent my questions to Bont (and their price is about $125 higher than the price on Bont's website).
