Cycling in Ibiza
Moderators: robbosmans, Moderator Team
Depends where you're staying and what you want of an evening. The nightlife's famous!
North of Ibiza Town you have Santa Eulalia. North of there there's very little traffic and it's very hilly. The contrast is stark because it's very quiet and peaceful. I've not ridden a bike there, but the roads will make your legs hurt.
Note that it's much smaller than Majorca, about 50 k's long by 30 wide. So, after a few days you will have exhausted most potential rides.

If ex-ww-member Stefan R is any indication, there is some quality riding on that little island. I'd get in touch with him.
i like people... i just can't stand assholes
Deffo take the bike at at least a 12-25 cassette.
Roads are good, lots of smaller ones and as said some decent bumps.
Also lots of roads leading down to great beaches and bays, great to stop for a drink and take in the scenary.....
San Antonio is what it is... Either your thing or not...
Ibiza town is a little less of a hole...
Most of the other towns are alot more low key and worth a visit.
You can easily do the island in 10days.....
Have fun.....

Ha, nice route.
There are plenty of roads across the island too.. Some gravel as I recall.
So to exhaust the options may take more than the 1 day.
That said when I was there we were on training camp, clubbing all night and riding in the Arvo.
Took 2 weeks to recover.... But a life time of memories... Or partial memories anyway...
