As much as they are really out of fashion, it's a little surprising that there aren't still a few more super light square taper XC cranks around. Just like the Power Arms, they can be super light and still quite durable because the BB bearings have decent sized balls despite being much smaller than 6806/6805 used for HT2 and 30mm spindle cranks. The Ti spindle's are really pretty light too. I think most people worry too much about flex when it has very little impact on performance.

It wouldn't surprise me that in a few year it will be very difficult to source any 94/58 chain rings. I was looking for some a while back but gave up to find exactly what I was looking for. As I have Hollowgrams I decided to change to a 120/80 spider. Looks like this is going to be the new compact standard in the industry. The design is also siffer, as the large chain ring loose the arms and the bolts attach closer to the outer diameter. It's a total Shimano 960 knock-off.
