Which tan sidewalled tubs dont need to be inflated every day
Moderator: robbosmans
Yes, I dont like to inflate a tubular every single day!
Continental tubas are good, but they dont have the classic sidewall color (except the "Giro" model).
Vredesteins are OK?
Thanks for help!!

Schwalbe Milanos seem to hold ok - they drop 5-10psi per day, but that makes them useable for 2 days at least!

I'm pretty sure the Milanos are latex.
My latex Schwalbe Ultremo HTs hold air well too.
Hi,
No, Milano and Montello do have a butyl inner tube.
If you take your riding serious you should check tyre pressure before every ride. Regardless of whether that tubbie has a latex or butyl inner tube.

you could also build an airtight room in your house you can pressurise to 110psi. store your bike in there, tires wont go down.

Milano and Montello actually doesn't have a tube...well, it does, but tube is vulcanised just like Tufo. As i recall, early Schwalbe tubs were made by Tufo. Maybe these are too. Montello is absolutely rubbish tub with max pressure of 7bar. I have these tubs on training wheels already glued on and they just doesn't roll at all.

Hi,
Nope.
These actually stem from the the Thai tyre factory Swallow (Schwalbe in english) which the Bohle group bought when they decided to sell tyres.
They're as regular as can be but are exceptional value for money.
