What is that a picture of? A chemical spill?

Is it à la german : "ba-oum" ?

I just call them "Borm" but I've heard "Ba-oum"

Thats predominately what the roads around our way look like as well. I have no qualms taking my bike down dirt roads. Its to be ridden!

100% Agree, not unusual for Australia, we race on worse!
Crappy course open chip, broken edges pot holes either through to dirt or patched 20 times, par for the course!
And Honestly, I can't think of many better ways to tackle this crap than on a nice Ti or Steel bike with a carbon fork, which takes out multiple frequencies of noise
