the lightest 29'er that could be built in theory

has anyone started a topic of what parts would be used
in order to build a lightest hard tail 29'er bike in theory ?
example. the wheels set would consist of ...?
tires would be ...?
front shocks with a lock out
this would be for a 150 lbs. rider on a 15-16 inch frame
and be for racing

My experience from a very WW mtb build: I'm strongly concidering parting out my bike and buying a basic factory bike and maybe upgrade the wheels... Stronger, more reliable and stiffer.

Martin F: 80g steerer, 80g stem and 65g handlebar. My combo is lighter then, with a Poseidon handlebar at 600mm. so could be even lighter with a slimmer Hera.

I lol'd @ flat pedals. I can understand wanting to use a conventional fork, but flat pedals on a race bike would be pretty silly.
if the lefty was the best fork it would be the only fork available on the market.
i have looked at it many times before i tried it.
and i like the non-standard way it looks
but it just is not for me.
most of the time, i ride the bike i use now with the fork locked out
i will take a photo of the pedals i am using now and post it.

Biggest load of crap I have ever heard!
Let's just say the Lefty is the best XC fork available (don't want to argue the point, just let's agree for the argument), with you logic all other manufactures would just get out of the XC fork market. Not strive to produce a better fork and take the number 1 place. Also, even if the Lefty is better than others, it is also more expensive than many and (I believe) requires more maintenance than many. Not everyone can afford to have the best nor need the best.
This would apply to any product in the market place.
BTW most money is made in the high volume low to mid range products. Top of the line products are only really there as Halo products to attract people to the brand and have something to aspire too, but that the masses will never have any real hope of owning.
