I am thinking of getting a set of 2012 CycleOps brand powertap prebuilts, they have 32 spokes Front and Back on a 23mm wide rim, I think it's a velocity A23 rim. I think they are good value because with discount I could buy them LESS than the hub itself, that's including the front wheel too.

I already have low spoke count sets around the house, 16/20, 20/24. Have not had much problems with them really.

I have yet used a 23mm rim, I figure maybe the extra spoke count is good to ride just about anywhere. So.. will 32 spokes ride slower? I do plan to go to a couple of timed century rides each year, and hope it won't feel less effecient if I ride these wheels. I don't draft, I only try to pass

I am 160lbs (72kg).

They look like this, got a little swirl on the rim so a little more interesting than a kinlin or velocity plain rim.
