I'm thinking of replacing the crankset on my 11 SLr01, the frame came in with SRAM bearings and I'm using a zipp vuma quad crankset. my question is can I use my existing sram bearings on the frame with the cannondale SI SL crankset or do I need to get the cannondale bearings too ?

The bearings are interchangeable; just make sure that you get the correct spindle length (road 104mm) on the Cannondale crank set and you'll be golden.

Also, if that is PF30 (not BB30), remove the rubber seals beneath the bearing covers with a pick.

It's BB30. The Teammachine SLR01 is such a beautiful bike.

are there any other length of the spindle that is bb30 compatible ? I have the vuma quad on the SLR01 right now. and instead of buying he zipp bb30 kit I used 2 10mm spacer on nds and ds because of the longer spindle length of the zipp crank.

The MTB BB30 spindle is a little longer.

Not the first time I've seen this recommendation, question is why?
