Italy meets Japan in this custom Carrera Phibra Di2 featured in our Sunday shop bike of the day.
EE brakes, Powerarm crankset, Praxis rings, Speedplays, S-Works Toupe carbon saddle, and 3T Team components = 15.1 lbs all-in
This model, like the Erakle and Estremo, is hand built and painted in Italy by the masters at Carrera.
We built this one with a taller custom-geometry for one of our favourite customers.

Agree on the spacers in theory but it's early in the year and he'll likely come down further.
Also agree on the battery but you can say the same about most brands.
As for the looks, I will say...MUCH sexier in person. But still out there.
I did ride a Phibra 2 and it was very solid - tracked like a missile.

huh? You mean that you can see the battery on most brands? You are aware there are solutions to hiding the battery? My comment was less about the frame and more about the build. Sorry, you seem like a very high end shop and when I see high end advertising I like to see appropriately high end builds....
What's wrong with seeing a battery?

Sorry to say the Phibra is a glaring example of making shapes with carbon because you can.

Well, the customer wasn't looking to hide the battery, though we've done that before.
As for the crazy shaping, I actually think some people dig the artistic look.
Not exactly classic, that's for sure.
Oh, and for what it's worth, Podium do tons of computer modelling as opposed to arbitrarily picking a cool shape.
