Anyone had a chance to use it? Have to admit, the SRAM Red unit looks great!

The looks are indeed super nice! a powermeter is too low on my wishlist though. I rather prefer to have a Pink jersey signed by Rider Hesjedal or Navardouskas. then a powermeter. The latter is probably harder to get hold of, but it would suit Erik Zabels signed green skinsuit great in my collection. Is there anybody out there who can help me get my hands on said jersey?
Oh, sorry to have taken this a bit OT.

Merged, as there is already a thread for the new Quarq.
Comp Cyclist won't have them until the 20th, apparently. Not landing in Oz for another couple of weeks. So I would wager you're looking at minimum of a week before you could realistically purchase one.

That would not be a team / giro original won't it? As that is where I'm after. i alreaady have Zabel signed green TT suit, a signed bmc tt suit, a signed CTT jersey. I like that sort of stuff. it is great as wall art.
I hope that the quarq red crank comes to a lot of new bikes!

Any word on how much just the spider is going to cost and will it retrofit to a 2011 crank?

Saw one in Brisbane yesterday, they look good!
It actually takes a second look to even recognise that they're a powermeter

WTF! $1795 for just a spider or a complete GXP crankset! This is why SRAM sucks!

That is just that particular spider. How much does a SRM spider cost?
Comparing SRM vs Quarq for similar crank SRAM S975
Quarq= $1795
SRM= $2745
Those are lists prices. Might find it less than that.
