Has anyone heard from Bernhard at BTP recently?

I've tried these two email addresses with no luck for the past couple of months.

Bernhard.Langerbein@t-online.de
service@b-t-p.de

Thanks!

Hey JR,

I've sent a couple of emails as well over the last two weeks and have had no reply...In the past he has sent me a reply within a couple of days, so I'm thinking things have changed. Maybe call him. :noidea:

Good luck, Pete

Update: buyer beware from BTP

I paid Bernhard at BTP for three water bottle cages ~7 months ago and have yet to receive them, much less a promised refund.

Timeline:

15 Jan '12 - I emailed Bernhard at BTP to buy three water bottle cages.
16 Jan '12 - Bernhard responds with a price and requests Paypal.
16 Jan '12 - I pay via Paypal and Bernhard confirms payment with an email back to me.
4 Apr '12 - No delivery, yet. I email Bernhard. No reply.
3 May '12 - No delivery, yet. I email Bernhard. No reply.
Early Jun '12 - I start this post wondering if something has happened to Bernhard or his company.
Early Jun '12 - I call Bernhard and he says he'll track the missing package.
4 Jun '12 - No reply from Bernhard with tracking details, so I email again.
6 Jun '12 - Bernhard emails me and says package was lost and will send again. Doesn't email me tracking details for either package.
23 Jun '12 - I email Bernhard asking for tracking number for second shipment. No reply.
31 Jul '12 - No delivery, yet. I email Bernhard. No reply.
Late Aug '12 - I call Bernhard again and he says he will issue a refund and not ship me anything. I prefer the cages, but accept his offer for a refund.
21 Aug '12 - I email Bernhard paypal details for my refund.
24 Aug '12 - No reply. I email Bernhard again.
29 Aug '12 (today) - No reply. I email Bernhard again.
29 Aug '12 (today) - I send a "money request" via Paypal to Bernhard.

I have purchased directly from Bernhard a couple of times previously, engaged him via email on installation advice and purchased other BTP products through vendors. I'm a long-time user and advocate of his work, but this is just too much and has gone on much too long.

Advice? Comments?

:noidea:

UPDATE - I finally rec'd a complete refund. Nothing more, nothing less from Bernhard.

Update: buyer beware from BTP

I finally elicited another response from Bernhard; however, I don't believe that I'm any closer to a resolution.

29 Aug '12 - Bernhard claims he issued a refund via Paypal on 29 Aug, but I don't see anything in my account. The "proof of refund" from Paypal he emailed me does not look anything like what I've seen from Paypal and makes me think it's not official.
30 Aug '12 - Under further review, Bernhard's Paypal "documentation" shows an incorrect email address for me. Still no response from Bernhard from a couple of emails since.

I'm disappointed that someone who I thought was a well-known and much-respected member of our community would continue to play nonsense games and evade a resolution.

I wish you better luck if you choose to conduct business directly with Bernhard.

Maybe he has indeed shut down his operation or is focusing in other areas.
