I run a Tune Komm-Vor saddle and really like it, but the edges of the nose of the saddle rub against my shorts - whilst it's not actually wearing them out particularly alarmingly it makes a really annoying noise!

The AX-Lightness Phoenix looks to be a similar shape and style, albeit annoyingly more expensive. It interests me as the nose of the saddle curves under, therefore the issue I'm having will be eliminated.

Can anyone confirm if the two saddles are of a similar shape, size, width and comfort?

Thanks.

Hi,

IMHO this should solve your problem:

Thanks but it won't - the sides of the nose are still straight so my shorts will still rub. The Phoenix has sides that curve under, I just don't know if it'll be as comfortable as the Komm-Vor.

Visually the Komm-Vor+ is much nicer, but the same problem will still exist so it's a pointless switch.

Try raising you saddle a tiny bit.

Adjust my saddle height to stop my shorts rubbing? How's that for shocking priorities?!

No - I'd rather change my saddle, thanks.

I think a tune concorde is probably what you are looking for. Apparently they dont make them anymore but there are still some around for sale i believe. Lighter too.
