Since most of the groupset parts will need other parts to work properly, I'd recommend saving a little longer and trying to buy all/most of it in one hit if you can and maybe get a 'groupset' discount.
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Will the headtube reducers not work with an integrated headset if I go for that option? Also was thinking it may not be as stiff.

I can get the Giant fork for £50 second hand which isn't bad at all for 560grams.

Might change wheel option, although I'm very happy with 8kilos. Pro Lite Bracchinos look good for the cash too.

As for the groupset, I will see what I can do, but I usually have only a small amount after bills etc. the buy a couple of parts.

Reporting in.

-I ended up buying some Forte Carbon/Microshift Arsis brifters for a very low price from a friend in the States.

Image

-105 front (on its way) and rear mech which were reasonable for my budget, yet light enough.

Image

-Tiagra cassette is temporary, just so I can get riding again. I will replace it with a Dura Ace or SRAM PG1070 cassette.

-I have front and rear Hope 3 Mono hubs on their way too. Just decing on non-tubular,non,tubless,low profile clinchers which are light but not too costly. (I know the wheels are where the biggest weight loss comes from ;))

-A Clarkes chain which is about 10'ish grams heavier than a Dura Ace.

Image

I will report back when she progressess in build stage.

Have you got the weight right for the PX brakes, shouldn't they be about 225?

Hi, that's about the weight of the CNC. The ones I listed are forged.

Hi PX are listing the forged ones as 20g heavier than the machined ones, or `less that 230g a pair', if this is true it's more good news for you.

Getting my wheel parts and them built by Bikehubstore. Total weight of the wheels is roughly 1390grams - 2040grams for the wheelset with latex tubes and Gatorskins which would mean my bike will weigh = 8.7kilos....

£205 for the wheels shipped to the U.K, just waiting for them to tell me how much builds will be.

Ah, I forgot about that. I'll have to work that out :)

I weighed the frame today, it weighs 1819grams with BB, rear mech hanger and Rival front mech.

The RHM01 bars are misadvertised though. They weigh nearly 100grams heavier than advertised.
