There is an element of truth to it, but frankly I think he's just soft. Even softer than Australians who wear thermals in 'winter'. He should give up cycling and take up something easy like cake decoration.

I think he teaches English for an income, hence the lovely vernacular, soliloquy and use of smart words.

Some might call it overly verbose though. :mrgreen:
