I like the woodman EL post for a zero offset. Should end up around 140grams for a 27.2, depending on the length you need.

Thomson Masterpiece all the way. Lightweight, bombproof, looks good.

good write up on seatpost in the latest VeloNews. Generally the best based on their tests is a carbon (versus alu) one with offset (versus streight). many models tested there

I am just about at the end of my evo build; front cockpit same as yours (beyond black stem looks really nice). I have gone for alien cyclops, should arrive Friday. I went back and forth for ages but in terms of weight, looks (plain) and value couldn't find anything to beat it.

Go Alien Cyclops and change the stem for a USE Race to match it. Colars and cuffs chaps, collars and cuffs...

I can't seem to find that test. Is it available only to subscribers?

+1
I'm using the setback version, but I see you want the straight, which they also make.

Token seatpost, cut it down some, and you will get it under a 100grms easy .

Syntace P6 HiFlex, Ritchey SuperLogic and MCFK were the best carbon seatposts according to the most recent Tour magazine test. The Ritchey WCS Alloy was the best non-carbon seatpost.
