Hi all,

As a lurker and recent WW obsessive I would like to introduce myself and my Alma.

I did go a bit too far initially and have now rebuilt using a few different parts, now using XTR Cassette, XO Mechs and Shifters, FSA K Force Light Cranks etc.. so I have now fattened it back up to 15.54lb

My ignorance has cost me a lot of money over the last few months as it is 20 years since I last had a bike and had to learn from scratch again by trial and error and had at buy all new tools. Have got a lot of wrong / unsuitable parts now which I am shifting slowly on eBay. Most expensive one was the VB1 brakes, they looked good but for normal use I much prefer my XT 771 set up and my old comfy levers.

The UltraTerra TNTs were so sexy I just couldn't resist :)

Well now the bike is seriously lighter, some kind person/s chose to steal it last night / early this morning. (9th May 2012)

Sorry to hear that. It happened to me once and I felt gutted. Since it's a distinctive ride maybe you'll find it again. On the web or elsewhere. Take care.
