One shot from todays 75 miler. While riding in rural parts of Maryland I stumbled across a Tibetan Buddhist Temple. Pretty cool and random.

I was also trying out a new saddle. I had a Specialized Toupe but decided to give the Romin EVO a try. I like the wider nose for when I'm in the drops and really putting down the power but the saddle is a lot stiffer than the Toupe. It was good but not great. How is the regular Romin?

Anywho, here is the pic!

That is one cool looking frame. It would look great posed up with maybe white tyres, white saddle, white or pink bar tape and white or pink hoods, BUT you obviously ride it and for that black is best 8)

Very, very nice ride. But then again, I appear to enjoy white Cervelos...

Thanks! I think that would be a bit too much white and wouldn't stay white for very long :D I do like the pink accents. If I ever build a set of wheels I will consider pink hubs and maybe color the levers on the shifters pink as well. Maybe fill the white with pink on the 3T stem and seat post. It would all have to match perfectly.

Thanks! :beerchug: I don't usually stop on rides but this setting was perfect. Kind of reminds me of that photo from TdF of the peleton with a field of sunflowers in the background.

Since my current wheel set is waiting for a new hub body it was a good opportunity to test out some Zipp 404 carbon clinchers this weekend and see what all the aero fuss is all about . The wheels were great but I think I'd like something a bit lighter as I plan to do some climbing/descending rides soon. Aluminum breaking surface will be a better option. They do make the bike look even better tho  Looks like I may be going with some Shimano Dura Ace C24 wheels :beerchug:

Looks good on the 404's.

Why the C24's? Isn't it pretty close to the Neuvations you have?

Thanks! The C24's should be at least about 200 grams lighter than the Neuvations and with a much lighter rim. I plan on doing some more serious climbing rides soon so that should help. Beefy hubs with light rims. I had the Neuvations for about 3 years and they have been good to me but recently the rear hub started acting up. I will fix it and sell them. I've been lusting a new wheels for a while and it was between the DA C24's and some 38mm carbon clinchers. For my riding style and terrain the DA C24's will be perfect.
