Serfas clinchers...

Was in a bind and had to pick up a clincher at an LBS I do not usually visit.

Ended up picking up a Serfas (never heard of it) clincher.

Any comments? Reviews? Thoughts?

And yes, I did search - - not much either way - basically two or three comments that they are good... but reviews/comments are quite thin on the ground, as they say.

great training tire, bullet proof but have a lot of rolling resistance.

Indeed Arky, but that is another conversation... they were right on my training route - maybe 6km from my house on the NLR side...

I rode Serfas Seca RS forever and loved them. They were cheap, and very durable in my experience. I raced them too with no issues. Not sure which model you purchased but I think you'll be happy with their performance.

At about 215g, they aren't real WW tires, but I have been a big fan of the Seca RS's for some time. Rolled up about 5,000 miles on the first pair I had til they were bald and never flatted.

Thanks for the feedback. Only picked up one clincher in an LBS, so it was not the cheapest, but will give it a go and see how it works.

I am a Vittoria fan, but in the name of $$ have been riding Michelin Pro 3s lately, as I can get a set for $30 each on Ebay from a multitude of sellers.

I notice that a set of Seca RS clinchers go for the same price. Any of you that can compare them to the Pro 3s? Longer life? How about "feel"?
