Hello everyone,

I owned a time RXRS ulteam bike with campie Record and Bora Ultra2, the frame is on size S (53). My height is 177cm and 73kgs in weight. I have a short leg for my height and long back (body). I am influenced by some of my colleagues who owned the dogma 2 as they say it is the best bike they have ridden.

Just simple answer, which one do you think is better between the 2?

If I had a dime for every time I've heard someone say "This is this best bike I've ever ridden" when it comes to something fairly expensive, I would be able to pay for several of those "best bike I've ever ridden" just for shits & giggles.

Time bikes are also overpriced and heavy, so this is going to be a tough choice.

Oh, i forgot to mentioned.

I live in Indonesia and the price of some stuffs in indonesia is different to other country. surprisingly, the time frame that i bought (with the handle bar and stem or you may call it module+) cost me $3900. While dogma 2 (only frame) will cost $$5000, so the price is so different between this two.

In my country the price of the wheelset is also quite funny. Bora ultra2 will cost $2450 and zipp 404 firecrest cost $2250. hehehe

If that's the case, and many of your friends are riding the Dogma, then you should ride the Time. :?
It will give you something to talk about.

Time bikes are handmade in France.

Dogma is made in Taiwan in the same factories where cheap carbon frames are made.
A light bike does replace good fitness.

+1 for Time, if you dont want to look behind door number three

Personly I dont understand the popularity of heavy, expensive, italian bikes. Why?

Those curvy Pinarello forks and seatstays are all marketing hype. I can't believe Pinarello tries to pass it off like those squiggly things are stiffer and more shock-absorbent at the same time. Plus, its ugly.

20:6 so far in favor of the time.
The Time option also received the most comments so far.

Can we just call it a day/thread now? and move on to the next "what wheels should I buy" or "what bike should I buy" thread?

The construction of the Pinarello bikes are not the issue. In fact, they are very well made. It's the grotesqueness and their dubious marketing claims that are the issue.
