Yah I didn't want to get into pricing, because I don't know if Nick set a final price for the isogrid frames, but I paid much less than $6500.

Care to share pricing on a custom isogrid framset (frame/fork/headset) or when you might put it on your website? I looked and saw the SL Road starts at $5500. I assumed with the new isogrid it would start around $6000 plus a few hundred for the extras. But if it is a lot less than this, that would be great.

I decided to go back to the aerolite pedals. I switched to the road version though. I originally had the tt version and the q factor was too narrow for me. I was constantly rubbing my shoe against the crank arm. The new Aerolites weigh 74g, which is a tad heavier than the tt version, but they work much better for me. I saved 111g with the switch. I also cut off that piece from the rear derailleur mech plate. New weight is 4.40kg or 9.70lbs. I need to shave another 323g to get down to the 8lb range using pretty standard road components. ;)

I ditched the Morpheus because the ones I had installed where actually a 'bad' pair so I sent them back to AX. Honestly I didn't think they'd replace them for me (or it would take months)so I purchased the Clavicula, which is a little lighter. AX gave me a brand new set of cranks and I had them back 2 weeks later. The Clavicula was already installed so I just stuck with those.

A custom build AX24 wheelset as seen in previous post viewtopic.php?f=3&t=97206 at 773g saving -158g plus swapping your rubber out at a saving of -250g would take you under the 4kg mark. Fantastic. :D

Gum, a coupe of months after you build this dream machine, are you enjoying using it as an everyday bike?

more specifically Im now interested on your thoughts regarding your choice for the cableset and durability of these veloflex extremes... were these two worthy weight savings?
and have you any plans for bringing under 9lbs in the future?
Tks!
