Hey gang,

Don't ask me how and why, but I received the below bike as a gift from a dear friend in the UAE.

Storck Aero
Xentis Mark 1 TT Clincher + Schwalbe Ultremo
Xentis Aero Base + Xentis Aero Action
Full DA7900 (incl. pedals)

I haven't ridden it yet; I still need to have it fitted. I want to remove the wheel decals (any tips on that?) and eventually at a later stage have the whole frame sanded and painted again something more sober.

I'll post better pictures soon as those were taken with my smartphone. Weight coming soon as well.

Not sure why you would want to change that paint / graphics. Seems pretty unique and not so loud (compared to some builds/schemes out there).
Your UAE friend might not appreciate changing it either...
Nice bike, nice friend, ride it as is.

Yes, will probably keep the frame as is, but the wheels are definitely too much!

The wheel decals are a bit to much, but IMHO this frame does need some nice Xentis wheels instead of regular spoked wheels.

hmmmm I guess that's pretty rare Al-Sultan's paint and you want to sand it? :noidea:
A light bike does replace good fitness.

Super nice bike.

This is the first Storck Aero that I have seen in Abu Dhabi Team colors. Faris rides an Aero 2.

I would check with your UAE friend first about removing the wheel decals, especially since his nation's capital name "Abu Dhabi" may be the subject of removal. IMHO, the Abu Dhabi decals on the Xentis wheels make it real special. In any case, when you ride this bike hard (as you should), the decals will disappear in a circle of white.
Current Bikes: S-Works Venge 7.3kg
Storck F.3 5.5kg
Colnago Concept Art Deco CHDK 7/6.5kg
Collection: Team Ti Raleigh 753 Vintage Campy
Ex: Storck F0.6 Di2 6kg, Storck F0.7IS Di2 4.8kg, Storck Aero2 7.04kg Storck Organic Light 11.1kg

I have seen a few of these... The one that stuck out was actually a Cervelo P3 painted like this.
