I'm in the position of being able to spec my own frame in alloy or hand wrapped carbon. So I'm looking for suggestions/input.

What I have in mind is this

Level flattened top tube.
1 1/8" to 1 1/2" tapered steerer.
BSA shell
Integrated mast.
Rear brake cable routed through the top tube, exiting centrally.
Top tube stops for rear dérailleur.
Down tube stops for front dérailleur.

Any other thoughts?

A lot of personal opinion.

Not a big fan of the seatmast. It has no real advantage but lots of limitations.
Solid RD housing might be a good option.
Flattened TT , I don't notice during races

Otherwise, its what I would do.
2 Serotta's, 1 Spectrum, 1 Van Dessel, 1 Parlee & 1 Carl Strong, & 1 Titus.

I'm coming from a X-Bow cross bike & a Time VXRS. Seatmast is something I like and also allows the cable to run through the middle of the top tube.

Fully enclosed rear gear outer was something I was toying with.
