Where are you all finding 2012 Red front derailleurs?

All the websites I'm looking at are out of stock. Are they in Europe yet?

BTI in the USA has them available in stock, so shops should be able to order them.

I got mine at Speedgoat.com. Great people to deal with, and they show that they have all sizes and braze on in stock.

Can anyone comment if the new Yaw FD let the chain drop back to the small ring gently like the shimano FDs or does it still have a stiff spring in it?

The shifts are way softer going down to the small chainring. I almost never look down anymore to see if the chain would come off. Happy man now :podium:

I thought I am the only one to do that!!!!

Also supposed the spring is slimmer to help clearance, can anyone comment on this.
My cable rubs the spring when in the small ring position with the previous SRAM stuff.

Thanks. Seems like they're only available in the US at the moment. Just check Cambria, and they're listed as $137. How did you manage to get it for $99?!

I have fitted the red 2012 shifters RD FD on my new R5 VWD and have to say that you need to run the new shifters to get it working correctly....

cranks are the Rotor 3D+ with Q rings and shift very very nicely!!! 50-34

cassette is a DA7900 11-27

has been getting a work out here in the mountains with 4300m climbing today!!!

I'd look at bike 24 if I was you guys ;) wayyyyy cheaper than anyone else and they have stock!!!

I am using the old Red shifters. I works great. Way better than the old unit.
