Guys, I'm in need of a 34mm seat post clamp for my Scott Cr1, The ones I am finding
are heavy metal clamps, I am looking for something appropriate for my carbon bike.

Any suggestions? I checked eBay, Fair wheel bikes and a few other shops online
and came up with nothing.

Are you sure it's 34 and not 34.9?

I'm positive, I measured using a gauge, I found some but they are not worth switching to.
I have a Scott Cr1 pro team 2006

Are you measuring the clamp? 34 is an oddball size. I think it's unlikely to be that size.

Maybe someone with a CR1 or an Addict with a seat post could chime in?

Better check with scott, there are carbon company like mcfk and btp that have your seat clamp size.

Thought it was weird that a CR1 had a 34 dia seatclamp. Found these -

It means you now have a lot more choice of lightweight clamps

It's probably a 34.9 mm seatclamp.....you have various options in alloy and a couple in carbon. Best bang for your buck could be the KCNC SC7 or SC11 which are sub 11-12 gram and cost very little. It you would like to go for the really light stuff then it would be some of the german carbon seatclamps like the BTP. Unfortunetly I think Bernahrd (BTP) closed down the shop as we haven't heard from him in quiote some time.

Man Thanks for the replies guys, I contacted Scott and they said to use 34.9mm,
I measured it at 34 but if they say it works I'll go ahead with it.

I'm going to check fairwheelbikes and choose something.

I'm a big fan of the 34.9 MCFK clamp I bought from fairwheel.
