guys, i am about to move from a 2008 Scott Addict R2 frameset (HMX carbon, like the R1)

the new frameset will be a Look 695, but i am not sure which version to pick: standard or SR

should i concern about the standard version being "noodly" compared to the Addict R2?
would you say the SR is harsher than the Addict R2?

please help me choose! thanks!

Ok, I belong to same team as WW fellow Kapo and I ride LOOK 695 SR version light black.
Bike weight 6,4kg as in picture (with pedals, garmin hardware and bottle cages), with Lightweight gen II weight is 6,19kg.
And Yes, I know its a bit too light for UCI rules, but whos counting?
So far I have ridden on it about 2300km and it has been superb!! A Big difference when you compare the my old LOOK 595.

Can you elaborate more on the differences and similarities to the 595? I have a 595 Ultra. You are one of the few people I have heard of, even online, that has had both and can comment on differences and similarities.

Frankly, I am surprised at the weights you posted as most other people that have posted 695 have reported considerably higher weights. This frame set is not regarded as "very weight weenie friendly", so I was surprised to read your actual weight. Nice.

So how does it ride?

What can I say... EPS system is WOW, unbelievable. Multisift is superb, front derailleur operation was even faster that I expected. Shifting is extreme precise and very easy to setup. Very easy. It took 2-3 minutes (maximum) to setup both rear and front to work.

Bike (frame) is over 1 year old, nothing more to say about it. Pure first class and yes you can put to cranks both size of chainrings, compact 110mm and regular 130mm, but this is an old story. Almost forget. SR EPS group add weight about 180g, total weight as in pic is 6610g, including Garmin equipments.

Yes, if you can do it by youself, just do it. If not, leave the work someone who can. Electric specifig frame is just a normal mechanical frame with some extra holes BTW...
