Another addition to the frame, in progress...

With regard to frame prep all I did was give the frame a clean, feathered out the numerous scratches with some fine grade sandpaper & then prayed with a can of satin spray paint. I'm using Posca pens and will need to give it a good clear coat after it's finished.

i painted a steel frame once. turned out very nice. consider UPOL clear coat. i used one can, but probably should have used 2 since it was thin in some places. sanded + polished the entire thing after the clearcoat (lots of work) - but it looks professional. everyone assumes i had it done professionally anyway. in fact, i've had people ask if its a joe bell paint job.
