Question - What spoke lengths and spoke tensions will I need for this build? First nice wheel build for me and I don't want to screw it up. Also note the Extralite hubs will be replacing the DT Swiss 240s hubs currently installed with 2x DS/NDS and radial front DT Swiss Aerolite spokes. If I can salvage some of the spokes and nipples all the better.

- ENVE/Edge 45 Tubular rims 24/20
- SLX UltraRear / SL2 Ultrafront - 24/20 / Shimano
- 2x DS/radial NDS rear - radial front
- CX-rays or DT Aerolite spokes / Pillar internal nipples (16mm)

Sorry if this is covered in another post.

Thanks :beerchug:

2x non drive would be a little more stable laterally and I'm sure you can do it with the non straight pull extralites. Nice upgrade that's a 1kg wheels set right there. I had an early SX front that I replaced with a SPM front hub and it's been way stiffer for my weight. It really sorted out my wheel set.
I'm sure zen cyclery would know what kinda tension to run he lists the extralites on his site. Also mad cow would totally be able to provide the information you require

On an Extralight SLX the reccomendation(from Extralight) is:
-2x on DS and
-radial on NDS

You can do 2X on both, but it will void the warrentee.

I was told this by Madcow when I built my Enve 45 tubulars with an SLX rear hub.
(he said I could do 2X on DS & NDS, but if it was sent in for warrentee, they can tell by the markings if it was 2X when it shouldn't have been, according to reccomendations)

Something to consider.
