Can you tell me the length of the seatpost? Have they got any longer than the 330mm of a couple of years ago?

Cheers

any chance of a pic of the chain catcher, does it just go on the bottle screws and take 30 secs to fit?

great built

callam: Yes, the catcher goes on underneath the bottle cage and took about 10 seconds more to mount than mounting only the cage :-)
Its distance to the inner ring can be adjusted. I've made a couple of stupid gear shifts in which the catcher has actually saved me. I could hear the chain running along the catcher.

Update: New weight with Mavic CCU as race wheels - 6860 grams. Everything included.. pedals, Garmin mount and cages.

DJM, that is a sweet stealthy ride, how do you find the carbonzon tubs? I am thinking of a pair for my alu Cervelo S1 , aero frame needs some deep rims ....specifically any truing issues/serviciability of the hubs?

Monkeyboy: Thanks!
When the wheels arrived they were out of true and badly needed re-dishing. I've had the rear wheel re-dished and trued, and the front only trued. I have yet to replace the bearings in spite of it being overdue for the rear wheel and hub :-) They've seen quite a lot of racing and training through last season, probably around 3000-4000 km. Not sure I'd repeat such a purchase, and I guess I could've complained and returned the wheels, yet I didn't want to go through the hassle of dealing with that all the way to China.

In the two first races this season I raced the CCUs though, and I probably will in the next races aswell.

Nice. First time I've read anyone using Flow bartape. Have taped many of them. Can recommend a lighter/tighter tape. Nice stealthbike otherwise ;)

Thanks!

I find the Flow tape nice becuase it is quite pliable and will stretch a lot, that way I can regulate the thickness of the tape by how much I stretch it. It also seems to hold up pretty well.

Nice, but wouldn't a larger size fit better, even keeping the contact points the same?

mrfish: I've been on larger frames for a while (61 jamis) and I found that I prefer a slightly smaller frame, and then rather increase stem length. I had a Cervélo S3 in a size 58 which fit me fairly perfectly, and decided to go with the Canyon sized most similarly to it. With the Aeroad the 58 was pretty much a perfect match, and with the Ultimate I had to go with some more reach on bar/stem to achieve the same position without having to get a larger frame.

So far the 58 feels perfect in races and for training.
