new to the forum, but not new to cycling.

I'm about to be building up a new Specialized Tarmac SL4 Pro OSBB Frameset!

Here are my specs:

S-Works Carbon Tarmac Handlebar

S-Works Pro-Set Stem

Sram Force

Mavic Kyserium SL

Mavic Yksion Griplink (front)

Mavic Yksion Powerlink (rear)

Mavic Road Innertube Presta

Garmin Edge 500

Speedplay Zero Stainless

Zipp Bartape


Please give me some feedback, and other options, just keep in mind I'm on a budget.

P.S. Would it be worth it to use a different chain/cassette then sram force's? Can I get a better one that is just as cheap or cheaper, that is also lighter?

Also, would the upgrade to a Red BB be worth it because of ceramic bearings?

skip the sram chain and get a KMC x10sl, lighter, quieter and cost less on the Bay.

You can't upgrade to a "red bottom bracket" for a couple reasons. First, it doesn't exist, but the frame is OSBB so wouldn't take a GXP bb anyway. You could get ceramic bearings, but I wouldn't bother.

Full new Sram 2012 ( except bb30 crankset which is not in market yet), using the old sram red crank atm

Planet-X 20mm carbon rims on DT240s & Cx-rays (1060g build)
3T Stem Team and Handlebar Team ergonova
Romin Expert Saddle
Look Keo2Max carbon pedals


Any further suggestions are welcome!
