I never thought I'd get the chance to enjoy riding a bike like this, but things just happened to fall into place... One of my riding buddies got the chance to ride in the European peloton, and he has been a big fan of Time bicycles ever since, so I caught the bug from him. I was actually wanting a Ti frame (still do), but he told me carbon was 100% the way to go. So hearing about how Time weaves their own carbon fiber and reading about their factory and bikes, I was thinking it would be awesome to have a Time. Anyhow, I was just lucky to find what is a dream bike for me: the Time RXRS Ulteam.

Here's the details:
Frame: Time RXRS Ulteam Black Label XS
Fork: Time SAFE+ full carbon
Headset: Time QUICKSET w/oversized lower bearing
Stem: Time Monolink RXR Ulteam 110 mm
Bars: 3T Ergonova Pro 42 cm
Bar tape: Fizik Dual
Shifters: SRAM Red
Hoods: SRAM red :)
Cables/Housing: Jagwire
Brakes: KCNC C7
Brake Pads: Shimano Dura-Ace or SwissStop Yellow King
FD: SRAM Red (Ti cage)
RD: SRAM Red
BB: SRAM Red GXP (in BB30 adapter)
Cranks: SRAM Red 130BCD
Chainrings: SRAM Red Powerglide 53/39
Chain: KMC X10SL Gold Titanium Nitride
Cassette: Ultegra 6600 11-25 or Dura-Ace 7900 12-23
Saddle: Fizik Antares Versus
Pedals: Shimano PD-5700 105
Wheels: Fulcrum Racing Zero clincher or Easton EC90 SL clincher
Tires: Continental GP4000S
Skewers: Aerozine XQ2.0
Cages: Time Carbon
Chain Catcher: Rotor
Cyclocomputer: CatEye V2c Double Wireless
Saddlebag: Fizik ICS Saddle Pak small (they're not joking, it's SMALL!)
Mini-pump: Lezyne Carbon Road Drive 2

When dressed with Easton EC90 SL wheels (also Fizik Arione CX Carbon Braided saddle that I took off, didn't like). Quickie phone camera pic indoors.

When dressed with Fulcrum Racing Zero wheels (I love the red color and the LOUD freehub). Post-rain ride, not happy as I would've ridden my rain bike (Cannondale CAAD9) if I'd known it was going to rain (forecast was only 10% chance of rain  ).

I feel very lucky to ride a bike that is so much nicer than I probably deserve talent-wise! Happily surprised by the ride quality which is incredible, at a level much more than I expected... Very different from my other bikes. Very smooth upon acceleration and has a great feel for the road without being overly harsh like my other carbon bike. I am surprised how enjoyable a ride it is! Aesthetically, I would also prefer to have Campagnolo Record or Super Record, but I don't want to spend the money at this time, and SRAM Red has functioned well enough, though I am definitely not a fan of the double tap mechanism for downshifts.

Happy riding to all and remember to keep the rubber side down! :beerchug:

Don't worry, it won't break if you ride it in the rain :D

Nice bike, by the way. Please post better pictures when you get a chance.

Great looking bike, the ulteam is definitely one of my all time favorite looking frames. It sounds like you really appreciate it, that's awesome. But as someone who appreciates the finer things in cycling, start saving for some campy. Even selling the red and putting chorus on it would be so worth it.

Otherwise, sweet ride man.

Does a bike get any better?

If you can manage to get past the Cannondale pics, you might want to have a look here: http://www.bikeradar.com/news/article/t ... dcm-31063/

Keep the SRAM Red, it's your bike, your tastes, your interests, your passion, not someone else's.

Happy riding.

+1 The red (no pun intended) really works with this frame! The saddle bag, however... Ouch! ;)

Very nice. What is the saddle height center BB to top of saddle? And weight?
