so yesterday our group was forced off the road by a car and a mass pile-up ensued. Unfortunately my bike appeared at the bottom of the pile, and some considerable force must have hit my bike. A large section of the driveside chainstay (approx 20cm long) has completely snapped off of my S-works sl3 frame.

I hope to get compensated by some form of insurance that we have on the bike, but we will have to wait.

In the meantime, I know that Calfee in Germany and America can repair breaks such as this, but what i would like to know is whether there is anybody in the UK that could also be able to do this.

Thanks for the help.

Darren repaired an S-works Roubaix for us last year after a seat stay was broken right through. The owner is very pleased with the result.

Yep Fiberlyte repaired a broken seatstay for me. Excellent job, and they can get the graphics re-done too if you want.

Thanks for the shouts, folks :D

Yes, we do carbon frame repairs, on a regular basis these days. We're also friendly with a local airbrush artist (Shelby Art) who does do touch up paint work and can match graphics very well. (I'm also told he's happy to do full resprays these days if anyone is after something a little different!)

@gg333, please email some photos of the damage to sales@fibre-lyte.co.uk or if you're local to us feel free to call in for a coffee and a chat.

Thanks very much for the advice guys, will probably wait until the insurance is sorted out, but will probably give fibrelyte a call.
