Hi all,

I am very happy with my C59 frame!
It is a big difference to my 4 year old Red Bull X lite (also carbon) frame.

Question; is a part of the difference maybe the old frame getting fluffy an not as stiff as it was?
So are carbon frames (and now my C59) getting softer due to wear & tear?

"fluffy"?

As in "flexy"?

The only things I think your Red Bull and C59 might have in common is that they are both made of carbon fibre (oh and both are bicycles :lol: ).

The technology that's gone into each are, to me, miles apart.

Nick Legan talks about carbon durability and longetivity: http://velonews.competitor.com/2012/01/ ... ing_202372

And as Tinea points out. The two frames are very different.

Sorry, indeed mean Flexy... ;-)

I know they are miles apart. Just wanted to know if a part of the stiffness I feel right now is due to the RB getting more Flexy / Fluffy ;-)

In other words; will my C59 get more flexy over time?
Hope not!

Guess not;
