Havent decided final build but campag with fulcrum zero wheels in red.
Dont know whether to go with black saddle, black bartape or white for both.
Have the C40 and EPS and this should fill the gap in between. Very happy with the paint job photos dont do it justice.

Wow, what a nice frame! Size 57 I guess...

I would put on red Fulcrum wheels. Some all black if you can!
Black bartape and sadlle! Deda bar, stem, seatpost. Classic Elite cages or Patao; or Arundel Mandible oil slick.
Black campy groupset.

Please note, those are just my sugesstions. You can of course build it as you like

Weight of frame 1280g size is 57cm ( correct majkinajt). There is lots and lots of paint on this frame, inside head tube is all painted white and dropouts are also painted making putting in wheels difficult so it will have to be sanded off.

Weight of fork uncut 470g with a big metal expander screw plug which i cannot work out how to remove.

I also have this other set of wheels xentis 4.2 clincher dt 240 hubs which may work better than red fulcrum zeros. Stickers are underneath a lacquer so i cant remove them which is a pity. I have seen this frame built up with black wheels and it looks great thats why i went for it in the first place but may go different and have the red fulcrums already which are one of my best ever wheels.
Got frame this morning from slane cycles belfast and i think it is their last available having had 12 in this colour. I was thinking of red headset like chris king or cane creek but they said to go with colnagos own brand headset in black and keep it simple as frame does not need it.
Will probably go with chorus as have super record already.
I like both 3T and deda for the bar stem seatpost. Havent decided yet.

You can put black decals on the rims to hide the red ones underneath the lacque. Simple

the big expander plug should come separately and uninstalled, that's how mine came with..
it's not easy to remove the expander once it's in the steerer. it grips real tight..
(my advice is to have this resolved by the LBS when installing the headset)
if you're planning to do all installation yourself, just be very careful when you try to remove it since a wrong step may permanently damage the steerer.

Hi Maverick, I have looked at your C50 many times and it was your photos that made me buy the C50 frame in the first place. Your bike sets a standard which would be impossible to better. There is one other on http://www.turbochargedbikes.com/ which is amazing also. My wife who has more taste than me much prefers your C50

I think we are unlikely to meet on the road so if I do decide to go for an identical colour scheme except the wheels i hope you are not upset.

no problem at all
i've since upgraded the stem to an Extralite OC Roadstem in 100mm.
the bike now weighs 6240grams with pedals and speedo included.
