I couldn't tell if it is a proprietary shape like BMC.

The more I look at it, the more it looks like it is round.

The style looks pretty similiar to what Scott foil is using...
Even the seatpost looks kind of square to me.

Just that the clamp is on the top of the top tube rather than the side which is what Scott Foil uses.

it´s round and 27,2 mm. so i don´t think it would be to hard to find a good seat post for it :D

It's a serious bike.

It looks like the offspring of a Parlee and BMC, with a bit of Scott thrown in. But that's no surprise as everyone begins to use the same CAD packages, same CFD and same materials in the same factories, tested in roughly the same ways...

So in the end the only difference will be brand, customer service, paint and how much warranty risk you're willing to take.

that´s how every frame should be weight. would be more hones to the customers.

Yeah I'm a big advocate for naked carbon and I wasn't suggesting it should have some garish paint job. I just want to know what happened to beatiful naked carbon like the old Treks, Parlees, the 2x2 twill on Storcks/Spin etc. I hate the plasticy matte look on Specialized and all the new frames. It's hard to explain but I like seeing the structure of the carbon underneath with all the ugly tatty bits etc. Shiny clearcoat > Matte IMO.

No Photon present at the Guru booth @ NAHBS. I was pretty surprised.

On matte black: it always looks better in the flesh than in low-pixel images.

The frame looks quite promising to me. I'd love to see geometry numbers. That's always the differentiating factor these days, where the frames are otherwise so similar.

They definitely had one there, it wasn't the minimalist paint scheme though, so it looked pretty similar to the Praemio-R they had in front of it. They've definitely come in heavier than the ~750g they quote, the last two we got (both around 55x52cm) were 830g and 832g with hardware (in the minimalist paint scheme).
