Sperstar chain guide is very light if your happy to run with no bash, otherwise lightweight bash and N-gear jump stop will work.

couldnt get the front mech to control the single ring with the front shifter removed so have added a 26t ring and the shifter.

Bin the front mech for a Superstar chain guide and loose the shifter, mech, cables and ring and bolts......even a lightweight bash and N-gear jump stop would be lighter (circa 160g versus about 360g as now).

Lighter discs, I can lock up an alligator windcutter (82g) just as easily as any other 160mm disc weighing 50% more, for the front you can get lighter discs, Hayes are lighter than most 160mm (118g) but will give good stopping.

Disc bolts, I found 2 lengths, the slightly shorter ones are 1g lighter a set (still steel!)

Grips, lockons are usually circa 80-100g, non lock on much lighter, foam (Pork rinds/KCNC/Avenir AGG407 are all the same actual part!) can be as light as 14g (with end caps).

Better RH shifter, Deore are about 20g heavier than XT and not as nice to use either.

Tyres.......
