Ok, so I am going to buy a crankset.......I have the following options:

1. Cannondale Hollowgram SI SL
2. Extralite Ebones QRC-2
3. Lightning
4. Rotor 3D+
5. SRAM Red Black

Which do y'all think?? See my signature link for bike picture......the obviosu answer is the Hollowgram, but thought I'd throw some more choices out there.

yay new cranks!! Personally, even though I don't have any experience with the ride of Rotor Cranks, I'd say go for that. The SiSl is amazing, no doubt, but I think the Rotor would match the frame better

I would say the Cannondale cranks if you don't mind the extra expense. I run the SRAM Red BB30 on my Synapse with Stronglight CT2 rings and it is great but I would have used the SiSL if I could have afforded it. Plus, you should eliminate the Red cranks as a choice since it would look weird with the rest of your group being Shimano.

I agree about the Red cranks.......unless with the $$ saved from the other choices I could go all SRAM Red on the bike.......choices, choices....

Interesting thought.......guess I could do a little sanding and "murder" them out. Added to the list. Thanks for the suggestion!

a friend of mine has got a rotor crank on his mtb. I like the cranks so I would choose for the Rotor 3D+

Hollowgram. It matches your frame. What other reason is there to have BB30 other than to run those cranks? Also, if you ever decide to get an SRM then you'll have the lightest setup(Clavicula M may be lighter :noidea: )

I have had many different cranksets: Dura Ace 7800, Campy SR11, Storck Power Arms, Zipp, Campy 10 and Extralite E-bones.
Although not the lightest, the feel and performance of the Campy SR11 is my favorite. The Storck Power Arms are a close second.

Any particular reason the dura ace 7900 is not on the list, besides the fact it isnt black?
