I've been a loyal CAAD rider for quite some time. The only road bikes I have owned have been in the CAAD family. I wanted to try something a little different but still stick with aluminum as my budget was very limited. First impressions, it's not as light as the CAAD10 but everything else seems to be on par with the CAAD. I would say it handles a little bit better. Seatpost is a clunker and will most likely be switched to a thomson elite masterpiece
2012 Specialized Allez Evo Frameset 52cm, Sram Rival Group w/ Force BB30 cranks, Speedplay Zero Stainless, Deda zero100 bars, Easton ea90 stem 120mm, Specialized Romin Saddle 130mm, Zipp 404 w/ conti sprinters, Tacx Tao cages. Weight is 15.98lbs or 7.25kg. Not super light but plenty light enough.

I have the same bike but a bit different on the build kit. One thing I would do first is change that seatpost. I couldnt believe how heavy it was.
Casati Vola SLi and Dolan Preffisio

Very nice. I took a good long look at an Allez after I sold my Tarmac but before I bought my CAAD10; they're very nice bikes this year with the BB30 and Tarmac fork.
Did you do some work on the finish or is it just the picture? Your's looks like it has a matte finish but the ones I saw in person were finished in gloss.

That'll be the first thing to go. The seatpost collar looks kind of chunky and heavy too so that might be switched out too.

I've had 2 caad10's. They're great bikes! The Allez feels very similar. I'm glad Specialized stepped it up this year. As for the finish, it's probably just the picture. The finish is glossy.
Nice. Looks good for a 52.

Sorry I have no idea. The frame was built up as soon as it arrived to the LBS.

I'll be honest: I would probably dry hump that bike if I saw it.
Anyway, joking aside: nice bike and happy riding!
