SR aero ring options - are there any?
Moderator: robbosmans
Is anyone aware of what options do I have when I want to go for an aero ring(s) for my 2012 Super Record crank. Currently I run 53/39 but would like to have 54 or 55 teeth on a TT bike and most importantly - would like some better, TT-specific looks
All specific aero rings seem to be Shimano-only (FSA, Rotor etc). Could I be missing something?
Thanks guys
-Lars

Campagnolo recently introduced TT rings in 54/42 and 55/42: http://www.campagnolo.com/jsp/en/groups ... tid_18.jsp

Yeah, but I'm thinking he wants the "aero" TT chainrings
Yes, I'm looking for aero rings, not just 54,55 setup. Fibre-Lyte seems like an option to explore, although full carbon setup does not match with my plan to put in some serious TT training miles, not just racing, this season. Thanks for looking into this guys!

Not exactly what you're looking for as they only seem to be available in 52 or 53.......

I guess it depends on what you call 'serious', plus regardless of the chainrings you choose, ours included, why not use a set of chainrings for training and a set for racing? If you are putting a lot of mileage on your chainrings, then even the best wearing will still wear.
FSA used to make their aero rings in both 130 and 135bcd. At all the sites which say there is a 135 option though, the 135s aren't available. For instance:

Maybe some patience on ebay will turn some up?

Cheers guys for the answers, much appreciated. Teh interwebs is getting so huge these days that some help browsing through comes in handy
I think that its only fair to give Fibre-Lyte a chance, especially as they look very posh indeed. I will get in touch with Stephen & Co then shortly.
