All I see is 12DS and 12NDS spokes.

Oh man! You are right. Such "idiot" I am:-)
Thanx for opening my eyes

In picture 3 above (and same as shown a few pages back) I see something like 6 - 7 non drive side and something like 12 - 14 drive......

Fair enough, but we were talking about Neutrons/Hyperons, not the unmistakably triplet laced Shimano wheel.

I think he means it seems similar to the trek brakes, the speed concept brakes work similar.

Yes. It seems to have a pivot point in between the calipers that's meant to
offer some movement fore & aft to help keep the brakes from locking up.
But, I'm just guessing at pictures.

:)

I rode it yesterday. It's nice, comfy. Best bit brakes, worst bit chainset / front mech looks ugly!

Brakes need a bit more work on the finishing IMO.

Rode what?

:?:

Sorry I had a play on a bike with the new groupset on.

A little clearer pictures of Dowsett's bike.

Hm, maybe the new lever's shape is not final... Of course it's just one broken lever, might not happen again, but it might be a design issue.

Oh no, not another chainring standard!!!!

Look pretty cool, but over a quarter of the chainring is unsupported. Sure they have done their homework.

They have to change the design do that compact rings will fit the same chainset is my understanding.

it's a smart move for them, something proprietary so you can't buy after market stuff . . . at least for the moment

Seeing how the crank's spokes are placed in very specific areas,
I'd bet it has something to do with torque forces on a pedal stroke
like oval rings.

Possibly. Good example.
I'm sure Shimano designers has a reason to design it like they did.

Also lets be honest, the vast majority of people run Dura-Ace rings on Dura-Ace cranks..... partially coz any other option looks hideous
