I've been working like a dog since starting employment with a new firm and have fallen out of the cycling loop for a few months now.
I'm in the process of getting a new road bike. If you would, could you tell me if there is any difference between the Evo 1 and Evo 2 other than the number "2" on the seat tube?
Much thanks!

And a hollowgram crank. I just put together an evo 1 last night, it weighed 14 lbs 7 oz.

For 2012 in the category 'Road' 'ELITE' carbon bikes there are only (2) frames;
SuperSix EVO frame / fork
SuperSix frame / fork
All other differences are only component groups.
one caveat; each of those (2) frames above also come in the special Di2 versions to accommodate the electronic groupos.

I am currently riding the EVO 2 (which has sram red) and I dont miss my Dura-ace 7800 at all. I hear the new Red is even better too if you can hold out for a month or so.
I have an Evo "2", sounds dumb to call them 1 and 2, but with the tweaks and bling I have the weight down to a very comfy 13.9 pounds. See threads here...
