That seat post is not painted. The surface layer is epoxy.

Hi, just use some 600 grit wet and dry adbrasive paper then finish with 800 grit.
You can just leave just like that or get a car bodyshop to put some 2k clear top coat on it.
If you cannot find wet and dry then scotchbrite pads will do the same job.

will it scratch the clearcoat ? i afraid after i send the wording part, the part will become white.
i have a very fine 3000 grid,can i use that?

I sanded my token seatpost. Got the decals off without touching the clearcoat ,I wet sanded it. In the end I sanded the clear off and used some 303 aero , It looks much better than the clear coat.
