Sorry, didnt mean to offend you with the bartape comment. My opinion is that red tape is out of place on this clayy build. I would choose black, but white would also look good, I guess.

No offence taken. The bar tape seems to have recieved a mixed response (with more negatives than positives) and it did look good with the black tape before.

Nothing too exciting.
I returned to black Deda tape as the Benotto tape was a few grams heavier and much more uncomfortable. I've been rolling on the aluminium clincher wheelset as I've had trouble with my Soul rear wheel and I can't get over the paranoia of running tubs all the time.
No other changes as everything is running nicely and feels good.

Hey bmxed, Nice bike. I notice that you've replaced the stock headset bearing cover, could you post some pics of this and explain what you did?
Thanks
Thanks

I'm fairly certain bb86 needs the gxp crankset, the bb30 will be too wide.

Cradle / bolt / yoke issue resolved
I also bought a 10.8mm M7 barrel nut from toronto cycles, the hole did require drilling using a 11mm drill bit, the original is 10mm or just shy of.
