Notice the second, larger picture... the polishing extends down the arms to the brake pad bolts while in the upper picture those parts are matte black.

It's just one of those small details that change from year to year that nobody notices until someone starts a thread like this. have a look at a pic of 7900 from CC's site and you can see that it's the same brake the OP posted/second one Giant DK posted.

I have the old style 7900, those newer ones look quicker! I 'need' to upgrade...

Greenedge did have a white Scott Foil with a very rough proto 9000 group on it at Bay Crits and National Champs. Clear plastic levers, unpolished calipers and lever body. Very much kept out of the public eye. Only current Dura-Ace Di2 groups were used for racing though.
