I'm looking for commuter, CX, caferacer and touring DISC bike in one. I was looking at Cannondale Bad Boy lefty fork but the stock is low everywhere for size small, then I look at the Bianchi Camaleonte and others etc... Anyone have other recommendation?

I'm thinking of picking up a Civia Bryant, but this is strictly for commuting purposes. Switching out my cross check for something w/discs.

No offense taken. Maybe you should check out the Specialized Tricross Disc for your rear rack needs. I just rode one a couple of days ago. It was really nice.

do I know you, your tone of writing seems familiar uhmmm.... I think I know who you are?

anyway, no offence to Specialized & like'rs but you'll never see me on that brand until they bring and match the prices with others, in some cases you'll pay double for the name with lower grade parts on the bike. Please dont tell me because thier frame is better than others co's I'm no Cadel Evans that can ride mountainbike and roadie ;)

If you're looking for discs and rear rack, get a frame w/the disc on the chain stay. W/this one can run almost any rear rack.

The early Specialized bikes had the disc mount on the seat stay. I think the current production model has it on the chain stay. That and a full aluminum fork, initially, turned me off the bike.

Trust me, you don't know me.

You can buy whatever you like. Jamis has a cross bike with discs now. Boardman has a really interesting cross bike with disc although finding a dealer might be hard.

I have been thinking about something like that lately and I think the Genesis Croix de Fer would be nice

Planet-X (or On-One, same brand) - Pompetamine, through an 11-spd Alfine internal on there and you're golden.
