Weight: 84kgs
FTP: 236 - 2.8w/kg
5 min: 251 2.9w/kg
5 sec: 1340 15.9w/kg

Mainly working on the last one, it's taken the biggest hit over the last 2 years. Used to be close to the magic 20w/kgs :(

Wait so you are the most dogmatic poster about threshold work and base training, yet have the lowest FTP and 5 minute in the entire thread? L-O-L

You know what they say about mechanics and their cars; quite possibly the same applies here :)

Out of curiosity- how many of these numbers that are posted are from a proper profile test, or are they just the highest individual numbers atttained? :noidea:

I know mine are from a test unless noted.

The catch that I said is that unless there is some notable physio training or actual successful elite level clients. So unless those exist its super amusing.

people may be interested in sharing their power profiles and critical power curves graphically, it´s very easy to contribute your data to the anonymous database at cyclingpowermodels:

That's pretty cool... but I wish most of the graphs weren't just watts alone/duration but rather w/kg.

I'm just a little curious, how much did everyone improve their profiles this year?

mine:
5s: 17%
1min: 3%
5 min: 14%
20 min: 12%

Granted it was truly my first year doing serious winter training. I'm quite happy with my results this year. My goal for this next year is to improve my 20 min power by 15%.

cool that you think it's cool! we have a few forthcoming ideas to improve the slice and dice capabilities on that page, for the meantime we've just added some watts/kilo & watts/m^2 contours to help read the power-weight & power-cda plots.
