My 'other ride'

Image
Crappy phone shot sorry, will put in big ring next time  ! My tried and tested Z1 Custom War Horse. Waxed & painted - 5.6 kg as is in pic.

Lovely clamp by Bernhard at BTP, MCFK post, stripped Tune KomVor saddle, Extralite stem, Acros/Tune BoBo headset,
PRO de-logoed Vibe carbon bars (I know slightly a-tonal w the campy/'exotic' stuff but THE best bars I have tried and this bike is about stuff that WORKS!),
the old Edge45 wheels Adrien made for me w Alchemy front & triplet RAR/Tune rear & bog standard SR11 w campy cables,
rest is pretty obvious for you trained WW eyes.

I just finished building this up and thought I would share it.
M/L Parlee Z4 2008...bought used.

I will ride it today for the first time for a shakedown ride.
A quick ride around the block and my first impression is that it is far better than my 2009 S-Works Tarmac built up at 14.5lbs.
I have not weighed this one yet as I am still waiting on a different stem and a few small things.

That is a nIce build with a bit of scope for some minor upgrades.

Enjoy riding it :welcome:

Thank you
I built it up to be my everyday bike.
I do have Carbon race wheels that drop the weight about 300 grams.
I also just ordered a set of Fulcrum 7 wheels I will set up tubeless to use for everyday riding.

I have these scales also, what did you use to hang the bike around the top tube?

Cheers

I hang it off the back of the saddle or the seat rails
If you made a little cloth sling you could hang it from anywhere

Thanks, I've been hanging mine from the same point...

Also I wish the figure shown on mine was as low as yours!
