Bought the 3T rotundo bar and -17 degree Arx-pro stem.
Still in a "mini-shock" because the bike looks a bit different, but getting used to it ;) :D

Havent rode it yet, but the position feels nice when sitting on it.
Will also try with the 0,5 cm spacer under the stem.

What do you guys think?
Too much "shicky-micky" white on the bars?
Somehow I have a feeling that one "3T" on the bars is enough ;)

Thanks for your honest opinions!

BTW, 2011 Chorus groupset is also on 8)

(sorry for the bad phone pics)

Classic bars on a classic frame. Now you're getting the idea. Those are my favorite bars, shape wise. Your levers might be just a tad high on the bars for my liking, but that's a personal thing. What's the vertical drop (from top of saddle to top of bars at the stem). Looks pretty aggressive, but if it works then great. Oh, and if you don't like the white on the bars it's super easy to remove with a little acetone, fine steel wool, and some Goof Off as a last step to remove some shadowy residue that might remain.

I always liked and wanted a classic shallow bar. I tried Deda shallow, but didnt like the feel of it.
Rotundo is much more "open" in the drops and feels a lot better!!

I`ve put the levers high to have less reach ;)

The vertical drop was 8,5 cm before. And now its 9,3 cm. But looks more!

You should never move the levers up to adjust reach, always move the saddle forward.

But I like it that way, it looks like a raging bull... ;)

Would it be wrong if my bike would have totaly black components, except groupset and the sadlle?

edit: those are high levers, which I also like! The whole bike of course!
Sorry KB....

Steve Hogg.

If your bars are too low, put your seat down. Have another.

Thanks!

I will also try it with my "old" Deda stem.

I am disappointed because the bar doesnt have cable grooves and Prologo skin touch bartape is not nice to put on. It lacks elasticity.

Looks good, but I would try some black tape over the 3t logos and stripe before you go for the acetone. Or you could spray the stripe a non-Garmin blue or silver maybe to match the frame? Choices choices...

I'm more concerned as to whether your cupboards are level and square.

Go all black, it will suit the frame. The White is too fussy. Bars look good, you moved the lever down?
