lightest 9spd shifters

what would the lightest 9spd shifters be (i presume the are something from SRAM) and would they work with a Dura Ace/XTR rear derailleur?

If it is Sram, it will be tha attack or rocket shifter. Tose are both shim compatible.

The lightest 9 speed shifters are the SRAM Quarz shifters - my shifters weigh 118g. They are not in production any more but they turn up on ebay from time to time. They work with the new Dura Ace derailleur. The current SRAM shiters are quite a bit heavier.

Sram is the lighest shifter in the market.made mostly plastic.
Btw, what is the weight of deore shifters?

SRAM X.0 shifter with SRAM X.0 rear derailleur

or

SRAM rocket shifter with Dura Ace rear derailleur

SRAM rocket and duraace is my choice

SRAM X.O is not a good idea. Coz SRAM X.O is only compactible with X.O rear D. .... Rocket= shimano and sram compactible. Many choices of rear Ds to choose.

Rocket perfomance is equal to X.O.

I weighed a Deore LX M570 shifter yesterday and it came in at 122g

well i have the 2000 Deore LX ST-M570 shiter/lever units and they weigh around 410g ...so i need to find a lighter alternative

so i think the SRAM rocket/ Dura Ace derailleur is the lightest choice for parts you can actually find ...

Very interesting. Mine must weigh less because I don't think they have the poo option
I'm not too sure about what model year the ones I have are, actually. That might be a contributing factor. Unless of course you are talking brake/shift and I am only talking shift.
