Made some updates to my Wilier. Although not a true WW project, the weight is 6355 grams (14.01 lbs).

Nice ... but I'd like to see a silver chain and Ritchey bar tape to match the stem and bars ... Ritchey bar tape is very good if it helps. And a second bottle cage please.

I agree: the gold chain doesn't look as compatible as I'd hoped... too much silver on the crankarms.

I agree on the gold chain topic.
But I must say this: I think those 3.4's look fantastic!! How do they ride? Could you offer any comparison to the 6.7's?

Only one outing on the Enve's so not enough time to give a report, nor will I be able to compare to the 6.7s as I don't have access to the 6.7s. Troy Watson at FWB has been riding both and indicated to me that they're now his favorite wheels with the 6.7s fractionally preferred over the 3.4s. Obviously depends on intended use. Email him for a detailed, expert comparison. However, the finish on the rims is a bit less refined than other carbon rims I've seen. As a non-racer, my take on the 3.4s even after several rides will be pretty superficial compared to those who really push them to the limit.

The Tune freehub is very noisy with a metallic clink that seems more noticable than what I remember of my Tune 160. And the front hub also seems to spin with a bit more resistence than my prior (old version) 70 front hub, which was the smoothest I've ever had. Perhaps both these initial reactions will change when the hubs are broken in...

The problem is not the golden chain but this shiny silver crankset.
Apart from this it is a nice bike. Really nice wheelset also.

sweet build. i like the gold chain, and dura ace still looks good but i think campag SR crankset would also be very nice on this frame.

Has anyone seen a THM Clavicula firsthand or know if it would work w/the Wilier BB? If looks alone could kill, surely it would do it on the Wilier IMO...

Your deeper section rim would probably have been better on the front. By the time the air reaches your rear wheel it is 'dirty' and as such there is less of a need for a deeper section rim than at the front.

But like most other posts on this thread I detect a pre-occupation with the way things look and not necessarily perform.
