If memory serves....1560g....that inclues the SRAM Force barings AND headset with topcap and spacer. In short...I have no idea of the individual fork and frame weights :(

Thanks for all the support guys...needless to say my ignore list is growing :)

Why don't you take advantage of a large body of people with much more cycling knowledge than you and perhaps take some of their advice? I'm sure your LBS or really any other decent rider would probably tell you the same things we have.
Don't take me too seriously. The only person that doesn't hate Froome.

Sorry, but thats a mess.......

You cant take actually take that bike seriously.
Is it meant to be ridden or is it just going to sit as a display?
Its not really fit for purpose to be ridden properly and its not light enough to be a showbike.
Listen to the other dudes and make it rideable. Then it'll be a sweet bike!

Stu, look at this for inspiration. This is done properly.

Its lighter than yours and 'GASP' it even has bar tape! 2 layers of tape!
.and chain is correct length etc etc

Think you might have a point. Those colors clash something awful. What was I thinking?

And that chain length! GASP!!! It's a weapon of mass destruction if I've ever seen one.

That guy's bike is sweet. Tape is cool if you need it or want it. Think I stated clearly I like the look of the bare marble carbon.

I really don't understand your reasoning...

I think you only "like the look" because it gets you under 14 lbs which isn't that impressive anyways. It's pretty easy to build a sub 14 lb bike nowadays.

My I'm 187 lbs and my 12.3lb bike hasn't got one weight limited part and is a total joy to ride..

Get some proper cables, a half decent bike like yours isn't goIng to be very much fun if it (more like when ) shifts like a bag of shit.. A couple of extra links in your chain will also make it shift better.. SRAM is crap If you don't set it up right
With out bar tape it looks ridiculous and can't be much fun to ride..

It dosnt matter what parts you use to put togeather if it's a fabulous ride and you Auctally ride the thing.
You wana save some weight then actually listen to what people have to say around here and use your head. Skimping on the things that make the bike shit to ride will only stop you riding the thing, that is not the point of building a new bike

I like the idea of a $5 cableset. It is totally functional. Think there's some snobs on this board.

The bike shifts perfectly thanks to me setting it up correctly...not because I have extra links in my chain.

Another thing...where do people get the idea that low weight is my goal? Think I stated clearly in my first post that fit is my first goal. I'd rather the bike weigh 16lb and fit me than 14lb and not. With that said I'm thinking of putting stiffer and heavier wheels on the bike. Really want a good climber.

Think some people think too much of tape...those who want tape are free to go to wal-mart and buy it. I'll pass...

Stu, try taking the constructive criticism in a positive manner. There are people on this board that have been around a long time and can offer some real advice.

I think your next build should be a bike that actually works decently.
